Greetings.
I believe that the customary action on my part would be to introduce myself to you and to explain the cause of my arrival.
Therefore, I shall attempt to enlighten you. I am known as T Sah A'Lien, 3rd Pod, 18th designation, inductee #54879. I am....
Please accept my apologies. That is, I am sure, more than you really wanted to know.

It is rather obvious how I arrived on this planet. The why however, not so much so.
I was on my fifth intersteller mission mapping a previously uncharted section of Domtrant 429.8 when I began to suspect my console was not displaying accurate readings. As this was my first solo mission, I had to rely upon only myself for repairs and corrections. I wonder now if this was the cause of my downfall.
I was able to find a relatively unpopulated section of this planet to make my landing. Until I discover the local name for this planet, I shall refer to it as The Land.

Fortunately, while the craft is most assuredly destroyed, there was still enough power in the recreators to manufacture building materials and a few select items I deemed necessary for my survival.
This is, however all I could safely recreate while still leaving the ship enough power to continue broadcasting the homing beacon I activated just before landing.
While policing all I could from the surrounding area to endeavor to keep the crash site contained, I made a disheartening discovery. My flight was sabotaged. I found a foreign matter in the console itself that would indicate I was victim of a deliberate contamination. The precious material has been placed for safe keeping in an enclosed case at the cornerstone of this building.
Because it will be several centuries before my beacon reaches my homespace and a rescue mission can be arranged, I realize that I will be on this new planet for my remaining days.
From scans made of this planet I know that it is inhabited by beings similar in size and stature to my own. I will attempt to cohabitate with these beings and, if possible, mate with one to ensure the continuance of my particular biology. Perhaps I shall have an heir still existing in this domicile when my race returns to redeem my craft. That heir will then be able to produce the proof of the sabotage and clear my, and thereby their own, name.

I have managed to obtain employment with a nearby medical facility. Due to the extensive training I received on my many missions I believe that I will be able to obtain the position of "Chief of Staff" at this facility.
Now that I am receiving monetary compensation for my actions my next goal is to find a mate worthy of being Mater to my heirs.
